My Friend Experimented Her Make-Up Skills On My Eye And I’m Still Coping Up With The Rejection!

Okay, so let me start from the beginning.

I work with and live in a backpacker’s hostel in South Delhi, so I’ve got this perk of living here for FREE. Plus, the food is free too!

Along with me, there’s this girl named Aloukika who works and lives here.

Last month in December, she joined Lakme Makeup Classes wherein they’re teaching her the “how-to” of makeup and hairs too, I guess.

So, for these last few weeks, she’s been asking me to let her experiment on my face and thus, for the same, she ordered this kit, which let me tell you is really expensive. Hence, today I finally said, “yes” to it aur bass…

We properly shot a video, which is going to get posted on her new Instagram page and maybe, YouTube too!

Since this morning, I have been vacillating between “Love is something that happens when it has to happen. I mean, it just happens, na!” to “But if you don’t pursue it. Don’t make things happen, how are things gonna happen to sum up into the feels that we call love?”

Actually, as I predicted and wrote about in the last article, things are happening that way only. I’m talking about the girl who denied to go out with me.

We still are chatting, less through voice messages and more through text but overall, it’s not even 20% of how much we were talking before this rejection thing happened. It’s just that even though I want to remain friends with her, part of me knows that she doesn’t want to meet me ever, so it just kills out all the feels, you know!

Anyway, there’s nothing I can do to fix this up now. I mean there’s no point in forcing and making things happen and… well, it’s just hard to talk with her now. It feels like she’s not even talking willingly.

I know, I know. I’m sounding stupid, but to be honest, everything feels stupid these days.

But maybe, this rejection is actually a new road in making for me that will lead to someplace good. Fingers crossed! (Expressing condolences to oneself is an art)

Also, I’ve been curating a list of some bands, albums, and songs. Aise hi.

That’s it for now, bye!
